Rudolf Weiss lebte von 1920 bis 1974.

Da hat sich Sven Wulf aber auf etwas eingelassen. Von seinen Eltern nahm er Reißaus und machte sich abenteuerlustig auf eine Schiffsreise, die er so schnell nicht vergessen würde. Plötzlich gerät er mit seinen Kameraden von der Route ab und ist von nun an schiffbrüchig auf einer geheimnisvollen Insel. Es wird ein Kampf ums Überleben. Doch der Schiffsjunge lässt sich nicht unterkriegen und in der Not wird sein Erfindergeist geweckt. Er gewinnt echte Freunde und meistert brenzlige Situationen mutig und klug. Wäre da nur nicht der schreckliche Perkins, der ihm schon auf dem Schiff gehörig Angst einjagte! Kann er ihm entkommen und irgendwann endlich seine Eltern wiedersehen?
